At TRANSID, we are a professional, multicultural, and multidisciplinary team of professionals with a wide range of skills and experiences. We take a comprehensive approach to community resilience; developing and implementing projects that encompass non-profit and for-profit sector integration, equal opportunity enhancement, public health promotion, emergency preparedness, and local economic recovery initiatives.
Our multidisciplinary team of experts has a broad range of skills and experience in Rural Development, Natural Resources Management, Agriculture and Food Security, Finance, Biodiversity, Water and Sanitation, Public Health, Disaster Risk. Dr. Vincent Kuuire is a distinguished Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in Immigrant Wellbeing and Global Health. With extensive research expertise in both Canada and Ghana, Dr. Kuuire is committed to improving migration and health policies in order to promote health equity and reduce health disparities.
His research activities are focused on a broad range of topics including immigrant health and wellbeing, healthcare access, environment and health connections, and global health. Dr. Kuuire's work aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly with regard to achieving universal health coverage, reducing inequality, and promoting sustainable communities. As Board Chair of TRANSID, Dr. Kuuire provides invaluable leadership and guidance to the organization in its efforts to empower vulnerable communities and promote sustainable development in Ghana's Upper West Region.

Dr. Andrea Rishworth is a highly trained health geographer with a wealth of experience in the field of public health. Her research interests are focused on understanding the impact of environmental factors on the health and wellbeing of populations, with a particular emphasis on aging communities.
She is well-versed in qualitative research methodologies, drawing on frameworks that enable her to explore the intricate connections between social, structural, and ecological processes that shape health outcomes at multiple scales and over time. Dr. Rishworth has dedicated much of her career to working in Ghana's Upper West Region, where she has conducted extensive research on maternal health, health inequalities, and barriers to accessing healthcare services. She brings to the board a deep understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable populations and a commitment to advancing equitable health policies and programs that prioritize the needs of the most marginalized communities.

Dr. Anthony Mwinilanaa Tampah-Naah is a highly accomplished Senior Lecturer at Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD UBIDS).
He brings to TRANSID his extensive research expertise in food and nutrition security, maternal and child health, population health and health disparities.
As a seasoned consultant and entrepreneur, Dr. Tampah-Naah's innovative and enterprising spirit has led him to establish the highly acclaimed Pognaa Foods, a household name in the production of quality peanut products such as peanut butter, peanut cookies, peanut oil, and peanut flour.
His vast experience in entrepreneurship and business development contributes to TRANSID's goal of creating sustainable livelihoods in the communities we serve.

Mrs. Vida Sogonir Gum is a highly experienced educationist, counselor, and advocate for women and girl child empowerment.
With over two decades of teaching experience in the Ghana Education Service and serving as the Head Teacher of Wa Municipal Girls’ Model JHS, Mrs. Gum is a passionate advocate for the rights of girls and women's empowerment.
She holds a BA Degree in Integrated Development Studies (Planning and Rural Development Option) and a M.Ed. Degree in Educational Administration and Management.
Mrs. Gum's extensive expertise in education and gender empowerment greatly contributes to TRANSID's mission of building community resilience and promoting inclusive and equitable development.

Prince Caesar Tampah is a visionary leader with a passion for community resilience and inclusive sustainable development. As the Executive Director of TRANSID, he brings a wealth of experience in Public Policy, Community Development, and Project Management.
With his exceptional skills in advocacy and rural development, he has successfully worked with various NGOs and Professors on educational projects, women empowerment, maternal health, and food security.
His expertise in these areas has been instrumental in strengthening community resilience and promoting inclusive sustainable development in several communities spanning the Upper West Region of Ghana.
While working as Project Officer for Incisive Education projects, Prince Caesar honed his skills in project management, which he now applies to TRANSID's programs. With his leadership and the invaluable support of the team, TRANSID is on track to achieve its mission of building resilient communities that can thrive sustainably.

As the Project Lead (Health) at TRANSID, Wienaah Ruby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
With a background in community health and midwifery, Ruby has a deep understanding of health education and counselling, adolescence health care, child nutrition, maternal health and disease prevention campaigns. She is passionate about promoting maternal health and adolescence reproductive health, and her expertise in these areas will be invaluable to the success of TRANSID's health projects. Ruby holds a Certificate in Community Health and a Diploma in Midwifery from the Jirapa Nursing and Midwifery Training College. Her commitment to improving health outcomes in underserved communities makes her an essential member of the TRANSID team.

In the realm of Sustainable and Inclusive Development, where passion meets purpose, Cordilia Balee stands as a beacon of expertise and commitment.
With a strong educational foundation in Purchasing and Supply and a successful career in the insurance industry, Cordilia has seamlessly fused her skills to create a unique impact on the world. Cordilia's journey began with an HND in Purchasing and Supply from Dr Hilla Limann Technical University. Armed with this knowledge, she ventured into the world of insurance, joining Enterprise Insurance as an Insurance Agent. It was here that her innate ability to build strong client relationships and provide impeccable service shone through. Her clients weren't just numbers; they were individuals and businesses relying on her expertise to protect their assets. Cordilia Balee is not just an insurance professional; she's a bridge builder. She excels in navigating the intricate terrain of client relationships, fostering trust, and ensuring that clients' unique needs are met. She brings these expertise to TRANSID in her role as Board Secretary and Project Officer.
